Storage: what is “NVMe” and what is “Cloud”?
Two kinds of space for two different jobs. That is how a site stays fast even with tens of thousands of images.
NVMe SSD (“Brain”)
WordPress files, theme, plugins and the database live here. It is the fast disk on the server — so the amount is limited per plan (3 / 5 / 20 GB).
Cloud (“Warehouse”)
Images, video and large files go to object storage (Backblaze B2, EU) and are served from their own subdomain behind the Cloudflare CDN. It grows as you need: 200 GB on Professional, 1 TB on Enterprise, and you can add 100 GB blocks.
Starter has no Cloud storage — media stays on NVMe.

The difference is the subdomain and path: media.* goes through the CDN and uses neither NVMe nor web-server CPU.
Cloud media space is limited by plan (200 GB / 1 TB) with upgrades available; the NVMe space for WordPress itself is fixed per plan.

Can I cancel any time?
Yes. There is no contract; you can cancel through your account or by email. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid term and no further charges apply. In the first 14 days you can get a full refund.
What if my site goes down or gets hacked?
Hacked sites are covered by the Hack-Fix guarantee: we clean and repair for free. Daily backups let you roll back to the last good state.
What happens when my site outgrows a plan?
You can upgrade any time and it takes effect immediately. For big media libraries, add Cloud space (from 100 GB) instead of a pricier plan.
Can I get a .hr domain?
We register .hr domains through CARNET on request. Use the form; crafts on the Starter offer get the first .hr domain free.
What is the difference between NVMe and Cloud space?
NVMe is the fast disk for WordPress and the database (limited per plan). Cloud is object storage for images and video, served from a media subdomain through the CDN.
What type of server do you use?
We use Nginx (not Apache), tuned for WordPress only. The server configuration is managed by us; rules your site needs (redirects, headers, an extra location) we add for your site on request. Just email help@mk-dizajn.hr.
Can I use my own existing domain?
Yes! Link your existing domain at no extra charge. We add it to our Cloudflare panel so you get Enterprise DNS, security, and performance — while you keep ownership at your registrar.
Can I have WordPress multisite?
Multisite is not part of the standard offer: each package is one WordPress site with its own domain, database and backups. For extra hostnames use aliases (e.g. www) or Linked subdomains, which serve a folder as a static site (up to 5). If you really need Multisite, contact us and we set it up by arrangement.
How does email work with your hosting?
Starter includes forwarding aliases (via ForwardEmail) to your Gmail or Yahoo, so you can send and receive as your domain. Professional adds 5 GB and Enterprise 10 GB of pooled mail storage with full mailboxes (SMTP/IMAP) — you decide in the Hub how that space is split between mailboxes. You'll receive setup details after purchase. WordPress outgoing emails (notifications, password changes) are configured with DKIM/SPF/DMARC when your domain is with us or on our Cloudflare account with Proxy enabled.
Is this managed hosting?
Yes — managed WordPress hosting. We look after the server, security, backups and automatic WordPress security updates, including plugins and themes you switch automatic updates on for. Plugins without automatic updates and major WordPress upgrades are yours to run; if you want us to handle those too, we arrange it through the web studio.
How secure are payments with Stripe?
We use Stripe for payment processing, which is PCI DSS Level 1 certified - the highest level of security certification. Your credit card information never touches our servers; it's processed directly by Stripe's secure infrastructure. Learn more in our Terms of Service.
What about backups?
All plans include free automated backups. Starter plans get daily backups, Professional plans get daily + weekly backups, and Enterprise plans get daily, weekly, and monthly backups. Your data is always safe and recoverable.
Where are your servers located?
Our servers are located in state-of-the-art green energy data centers in Germany. These facilities are powered by 100% renewable energy and maintain the highest standards of security and reliability.
Can I upgrade or downgrade my plan?
Absolutely! You can upgrade or downgrade your hosting plan at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately, and downgrades will take effect at the start of your next billing cycle. Contact our support team for assistance.
