Technology
Blazing fast technology without compromise
We built the platform for WordPress only: from the server, through caching and Cloudflare, to media on object storage. All of it is in every plan.
Cloudflare: serves ready pages from the data centre closest to the visitor and stops attacks before they reach the server.
1. Nginx and PHP-FPM
A WordPress-only server with several PHP versions (7.4 to 8.5) through PHP-FPM.
2. Cloudflare edge cache and Redis
Cloudflare serves ready-made pages to anonymous visitors from the edge, from the data centre closest to them. Redis remembers database queries for the cart, checkout and admin.
3. Cloudflare protection
DDoS protection and WAF rules stop attacks before they reach the server. You clear the cache in one click from WordPress, Cloudflare included.
4. Object storage and AVIF
Images and video live on Backblaze B2 in the EU and are served from your own media subdomain, automatically as AVIF with a JPEG/PNG fallback.
The path of one visit
What happens when someone opens your site.
- 1
Visitor
The browser asks for a page.
- 2
Cloudflare
WAF and DDoS filter, edge cache.
- 3
Nginx
Static files and pages not yet in the edge cache.
- 4
PHP-FPM + Redis
Only what has to be dynamic.
- 5
MariaDB
The database, relieved by Redis.
Images take their own route: media.yourdomain.com → Cloudflare → Backblaze B2 (EU).
MK Hub
Our own cPanel, built only for WordPress
Every site gets its own Site Hub: one panel for the server, Cloudflare at the edge, backups, the database and monitoring. We build it ourselves. Click through the tabs: this is the site of a made-up client, John Doe.

What you can do here
Everything important on one screen
- Site status, plan, PHP version and renewal date
- NVMe disk and cloud media storage in use
- Domains, aliases and linked subdomains
- Latest backups and uptime over the last 30 days
MK Hub or a classic cPanel?
| MK Hub | Classic cPanel | |
|---|---|---|
| Uptime monitoring | Every minute, with alerts and history | Needs an outside service |
| Malware protection | Nightly scan, quarantine, one-click repairs | Usually a paid add-on |
| Backups | Daily, off the server, restore from the Hub | Restores often go through support |
| Cloudflare | Built in: WAF, cache, Bot Fight Mode, analytics | A separate account you set up yourself |
| Isolation | Each site with its own user and PHP pool | One user for every site |
| Terminal and database | Web terminal and Adminer in one click | SSH keys and a separate login |
MK Care
Someone watches your site even when you are not looking
MK Care is an add-on that turns the Hub into an on-call service. It is included in the Enterprise plan, and we switch it on for other plans on request.
How MK Care works →Uptime every minute
A check from Cloudflare every minute. Before we call an outage, the server confirms whether the problem really is the site.
Nightly scan
The scanner runs outside the site’s user, so an infected site cannot hide from it: core and plugins against wordpress.org, malware signatures, new administrators.
Quarantine, not deletion
Infected PHP in the uploads folder goes to quarantine automatically and can be restored. Everything else is a one-click repair.
Alerts and a report
Up to five addresses get an alert about an outage or a scanner finding, and on the first of the month a report on uptime, backups and scans arrives.
Sites we host — measured
Real WordPress sites on our platform: cultural portals, festivals, studios and web shops. You can re-run every result yourself by clicking the name.
CWV ✓ = Google confirms a Core Web Vitals pass on real users. The other sites do not have enough traffic for that data.
PageSpeed Insights, mobile, lab test (emulated Moto G, slow 4G), 11. 10. 2026. The result also depends on the site itself (theme, images, plugins); hosting affects server response and media delivery. Results change over time.
What is included — and often an add-on elsewhere
Speed is not one setting but layers. With us, every layer is part of the plan.
| Feature | MK-Dizajn | Classic shared hosting (often) |
|---|---|---|
| Disks | NVMe SSD | SATA SSD or HDD, shared |
| HTML page cache | Cloudflare edge cache: ready-made pages from the edge | A plugin you install yourself, or none |
| Redis object cache | MK OB Cache, included in all three plans | Often unavailable or paid extra |
| Cloudflare CDN and WAF | Integrated, rules in the Hub | You set it up yourself |
| Media and AVIF | Media subdomain + automatic AVIF | Images from the same server, manual optimisation |
| Backups | Daily on every plan | Often an add-on or less frequent |
| A hacked site | Hack-Fix guarantee: free cleanup | Cleanup is often charged |
A general comparison; the real picture depends on the provider and package. Check with your current host.
